First Airport With Water Taxi

During the high - level review meeting at the sahyadri guest house , CM Fadnavis directed that the airport be integrated with various modes of transport including roads,railways,metro lines, and waterways .Notably, he announced that the airport would be first in india to offer water taxi services, creating a unique and efficient link for travelers.

     Accelerating the NAINA (Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notice Area ) project was another key focus. Fadnavis insisted that road network be desgined to accommodate future traffic volumes and directed that clear times line and strict contractual deadlines be included in infrastructure tenders to avoid delays . He high - lighted the use of modern technology to maintain project momentum and quailty .

     To enhance public convenience, the Chief minister ordered the development of multi-model transport connectivity from metro station to the airport ,ensuring a hassle- free experience for commuters. He urged city and Industrial Development Corporation(CIDCO) to uphold high standrads in housing and infrastructure development and to prioritize affordable housing initiatives for the public.
